Try using drawer organizers to contain what you want in each drawer. These always work well for your silverware but they are great for holding those pens and pencils too. Sort through your spoons, spatulas, tongs etc. and ask yourself if your using them and how often? You may find that you have duplicate items but you only use a select few that are your favorites. Categorize and group together different utensils that you need but don't use every day. Take for example a garlic press, can opener, egg slicer, specialty knives for cheese and vegetables etc. Knowing that you keep these items together will make them easier to find when they are needed.
Further, before going for a kitchen drawer system it should be seen that it has a well equipped storage system. They can be wooden with fancy frames, however, in the modern times; the kitchen drawer system has taken a shift from wooden to anthracite - grey graphite coated furniture.
The kitchen is one of the most important areas of the home. You want it to be organized so you are able to find what you need quickly during meal preparation and table setting. All too often, however, different utensils are thrown together in drawers, and dinnerware and glassware are not grouped ideally. Creating an organized kitchen will help mealtimes run more smoothly.
